My final thesis project focused on storytelling and collaboration. The theme of the story was “a dream about Tokyo.” I involved five other people to work on specific parts independently from one another. I art directed their work and then composed all of these elements on top of my original footage. In the end, I had a three minute and twenty-four second short film that combined live footage, music, voice-overs, and digital effects.
